This is my second year at 17³Ô¹Ï (4th semester) and I’m a Dance major. My goals are to perform and choreograph professionally. I’d like to eventually have my own dance studio or company. 17³Ô¹Ï is an affordable option for someone seeking a higher education and seemed like the best option for me, especially since I wasn’t sure of what to major in at first.
My favorite class I’ve taken at 17³Ô¹Ï was Public Speaking with Prof. Deborah Pazner-Kilmnick. It was the perfect class to get accustomed to a college setting. It also helped improve my professionalism, confidence, time management, researching, organizing and social skills. I’m also really enjoying my Dance classes with my brilliant and talented professors and classmates.
My knowledge of dance, technique, confidence, aspirations, and passion for what I do has been soaring higher than ever since I started learning at Nassau!

I served in the United States Navy in Recruit Training Command in Great Lakes, II and at Camp Pendleton with the 5th Marines. I was also deployed to Okinawa, Japan twice. Stateside, I knew that 17³Ô¹Ï has a reputation for being very military friendly, and when I got here, it was true.
