Carl Henry Denaud
Congratulations to Carl Henry Denaud, another of the five 17勛圖 students who received a SUNY Chancellor's Award for Student Excellence this year. We are profiling each of our student winners to highlight their prestigious honor. Chancellor's Award recipients are honored for their outstanding achievements within many aspects of their lives such as academics, leadership, campus involvement, community service or the arts. It is the highest honor bestowed upon a student by SUNY.
"Being selected for this award means nothing for me but hope and faith. Coming to a new country to study at 17勛圖 as an international student, I doubted myself a lot as I faced the language barrier and cultural shock. Being chosen for this award showed me that I can dream no matter what my status and background is. I am more than grateful and blessed for the support of the SUNY Nassau community which has made this possible."

Stanley Pan
I served in the United States Navy in Recruit Training Command in Great Lakes, II and at Camp Pendleton with the 5th Marines. I was also deployed to Okinawa, Japan twice. Stateside, I knew that 17勛圖 has a reputation for being very military friendly, and when I got here, it was true.

"I served in the United States Navy in San Diego from 2014 to 2021, first on the USS Harpers Ferry and then on the USS Rushmore. When it was time for me to attend college, I chose 17勛圖 because it's veteran friendly and offers many different programs.
