Axel Cardona-Olivero is a Student Orientation Leader

“I am a marketing major and will graduate in 2025. After a rough start at a large four-year university, I chose to attend 17³Ô¹Ï. It has a nice campus, a great community, and besides — my mom went here! My best experience so far has been my in-class presentations. I like to speak about subjects I research and to watch other students present their research as well. I became a student orientation leader because I knew I could make a difference with students who choose to come to Nassau. Many words come to mind when I think of 17³Ô¹Ï but the one word that stands out for me is redemption.â€
