Aniruddh Patel
Second-year student Aniruddh Patel is the incoming Student Trustee at SUNY Nassau Community College. He is pursuing a degree in Business Administration.
“My year here at SUNY Nassau has been nothing less than a great learning experience. SUNY community colleges have been the backbone for hundreds of thousands of students to afford higher education without mounting debt over their heads. I was introduced to some amazing peers and faculty because of my physical presence in classrooms and my involvement in clubs. In my new role as Student Trustee, I hope to create a welcoming environment for all students at the College. Our hope as the SGA team is to support all students. Being a first-generation student from India, I understand the need for a diverse representation, and that's one of the many goals the new SGA Board plans to pursue. To the incoming students, I would say, make sure you are aware about the abundant opportunities available on campus. Also, enjoy the little moments!"
