17吃瓜 Presents 鈥淗airspray鈥�

March 14-17 & 20-24

Garden City, NY 鈥� The 17吃瓜 Department of Theatre and Dance is proud to present the Broadway musical 鈥淗airspray,鈥� which will be performed at the Mainstage Theatre March 14-17 and 20-24.Winner of eight Tony awards including Best Musical, 鈥淗airspray鈥� is a family-friendly romp filled with laughter, romance and deliriously tuneful songs. It鈥檚 set in 1962 Baltimore, where Tracy Turnblad 鈥� a loveable plus-size teen 鈥� gets to dance on the Corny Collins television show. The former outcast uses her newfound popularity to make all her dreams come true, including landing the affections of heartthrob Link Larkin, and giving other members of the 鈥渙ut鈥� crowd their chance to shine.Performances of 鈥淗airspray鈥� are at 8:00 p.m. Thursday through Saturday; 3:00 p.m. on Sunday. Tickets are $18.00 per person ($15.00 for seniors 55 or over). Free rush tickets are available for college students with valid I.D., except for Sunday performances.
